Great Britain’s hit soap, ”Eastenders” shut down production on Wednesday due to the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe.
A spokesperson from the BBC said: “In light of the spread of Covid-19, after much consideration, it has been decided that filming on EastEnders will be postponed until further notice.”
”Eastenders” has been on air since 1985. It follows a community of British people living in London’s East End. It has boasted actors and actresses like Barbara Windsor and Martine McCutcheon.
Other big British shows like ”Casualty” and ”Holby City” have also ceased filming from their shared filming location in Cardiff, Wales.
