Tom Ellis is close to inking a deal to reprise his Lucifer for a sixth season. Though billed as the final season, the upcoming fifth season must be tracking well enough to solidify another round of eps for the Netflix comic book drama.
Unlike the fourth season, the next season won’t release all eps at once – it’ll consist of sixteen episodes that will be broken up into two eight-episode chunks.
Ellis recently reprised his role for the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” event series at The CW.
Meanwhile, one of the best new additions to “The Flash” in recent times, Brandon McKnight (who plays Chester P. Runk), has been upped to a regular.
The tech genius, who has only been seen in three episodes so far, will be on the CW payroll as a full-time employee from the upcoming seventh season.
